Pressure seal globe valves are used for both on-off and throttling operation. The body design incorporates streamlined flow path for reduced pressure drop. The flow characteristics permit accurate and repeatable flow control.
The pressure seal bonnet joint eliminates the body / bonnet flanges, reducing weight. The internal pressure applied to the pressure seal valve forces the sealing element into the tighter seal. The higher the internal pressure the tighter the seal because of pressure assisted seal.
